Question cant find "ospublic.h - oserror.h - oscompat.h" Sybase 12

Hi
I m just wondering about the files ospublic.h, oserror.h, oscompat.h.
We need it for generation of some shared obects, but they are not
to be found anywhere on the Sybase 12.0 installations we have
on Linux and Solaris

Found them on one of our -now obsolete- 11.9.2 installations, which obviously _had_ some Open Server applications installed-yet I dont find any of these files on the 12.0 installation.

I read that these files are required by all Open Server applications
and also noticed that the Monitor server and Backup server is such an "open server" app as well ?

So these files should be there, shouldnt they ?

*confused*

Any hints to solve this mystery are appreciated
Thanks in advance,
Otto Reim
